This season, EFB one again presented 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, a performance that is quickly becoming a holiday favourite among Edmontonians. The show saw some changes this season, with new choreography by Ida Lucila, interim Artistic Director, for stockings, mice, and sugar plums. Also, Julie Homister and Terra Mahood worked together to choreograph a new 'Toys' scene with Toy Soldiers, Dolls, and Teddy Bears. Original choreography by Courtney Beshear, Tina Covlin-Dewart, Nancy Hamilton, and Terra Mahood filled out the 50 minute performance. New costumes for several pieces of the performance were a fantastic highlight. These costumes were designed, sewn, and decorated by Kelly Ilkiw, Suzanne Keglowitsch, Hillary Flesher, and Rachel McNicoll, among others. The Edmonton School of Ballet also generously lent out costumes for the childrens' roles in the ballet. Special guests from the Edmonton School of Ballet and the Vimy Ridge Dance Program were delightful.
