The Edmonton Festival Ballet performed a variety of repertoire at the Edmonton Contemporary Dancers' presentation of Essence of Dance on June 7th, 2008. Included in this were excerpts from both Sleeping Beauty and Les Sylphides. As well, original works choreographed by Jacques Bourgouin and Ashley Werhun were included. This was another opportunity for the student choreography of two of our dancers Pale Blue Dot to be performed one more time.
