Rehearsals and Performances
*Jr. Co.
only need to attend the August 26 audition. Please note the Stocking
rehearsal times. Dancers may be cast in one or both roles.
*Dancers not in Jr. Co.
who would like the opportunity are welcome to audition for the
stockings or reindeer roles.
There will
be between six (6) & eight (8) performances this season. We will
attempt to cast and schedule the guest dancers so that they do not
have to miss 3 full days of school; however, the dancers will be
quite busy on each of those 3 days. Please expect to have to be at
the theatre at least part (and sometimes all) of each performance
day.
ALL REHEARSALS ARE MANDATORY.
DANCERS WHO MISS MORE THAN 2 REHEARSALS (REGARDLESS OF THE REASON)
WILL BE REPLACED. ALL FULL CAST/DRESS REHEARSALS ARE MANDATORY.
Note The
Edmonton Festival Ballet is a separate organization from the
Edmonton School of Ballet and the Artistic Directors of EFB reserve
the right to re-schedule any rehearsals or performances as they see
fit or to re-cast any dancers in roles that are most appropriate for
our production. This is a professional production and dancers and
parents are expected to act accordingly by following all company
rules and expectations and by accepting all of the Artistic
Directors decisions as final.
